Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and AI Lora (together with its affiliates, “AirportDate”, “we”, “us”) and govern your access to and use of the AirportDate website, mobile and web apps, and related services (together, the “Service”). AirportDate is available to people around the world. By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Please read Sections 5 (Safety and assumption of risk), 10 (Disclaimers) and 11 (Limitation of liability) carefully — they limit our liability and describe risks that are inherent to meeting people you do not know.
1. Eligibility and where the Service is available
- You must be 18 years of age or older. There are no exceptions. We verify age at signup and through selfie-based age estimation; accounts that turn out to belong to anyone under 18 are removed.
- You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in your country of residence, and your use of the Service must be lawful where you are. You are responsible for complying with your local laws.
- You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable sanctions or export-control laws, or if you have previously been removed or banned from AirportDate.
- One account per person, registered with accurate, current information about yourself. You may not create an account for anyone else or on anyone else's behalf.
2. Your account and verification
You are responsible for everything that happens on your account and for keeping your login credentials confidential. Phone verification is required before you appear in Discover, and selfie verification before you send a first message. This is deliberate: it raises the bar so that people you talk to have proven they are real and present. Verification confirms identity signals only — it is not a background check, criminal-records check, or any guarantee that another person is safe, honest, or who they claim to be over time. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
3. Licence to use the Service
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, scrape, data-mine, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Service, or access it other than through the interfaces we provide. We and our licensors retain all intellectual-property rights in the Service.
4. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, defame, or harm anyone, or contact a person who has blocked or unmatched you;
- post or send content that is illegal, hateful, discriminatory, harassing, sexually explicit, or that depicts, involves or endangers anyone under 18 in any way — we detect and report child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities and child-safety organisations as the law requires;
- impersonate any person or organisation, or create fake or misleading profiles;
- solicit money, request financial information, run scams or “romance fraud”, advertise, or use the Service for any commercial purpose;
- upload viruses or malicious code, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' data;
- collect or harvest other users' information, or share another person's private information without consent;
- evade a suspension, ban, block or other enforcement action, including by creating a new account.
5. Safety, conduct, and assumption of risk
AirportDate is a venue that helps people connect; we do not employ, introduce, endorse, or vouch for any user, and we do not conduct background or identity-history checks beyond the verification badges shown in the app. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, online and in person.
Meeting anyone you do not know carries inherent risk, and that risk can be higher when travelling in an unfamiliar place. You assume that risk. We strongly recommend you meet only in public airport or city areas, tell a friend where you are going, keep your belongings and travel documents with you, and use the in-app safety tools — blocking, reporting, unmatching, live trip sharing and account deletion are always free. See the Safety Center. AirportDate shows approximate presence only — never exact GPS by default. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the photos, text and other content you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt (for example to resize images or generate previews) and distribute Your Content solely to operate, moderate and improve the Service; this licence ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for copies we must retain by law or that have already been shared with others. You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to share it. We may remove content that breaches these Terms. AI-assisted features that process Your Content (such as profile suggestions) run only with your consent and never change your profile without your explicit approval.
7. Subscriptions, purchases and refunds
- Paid plans and one-off purchases are processed by Stripe and, where offered, app-store billing. Prices and taxes are shown before you pay.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in Settings and keep access until the end of the current paid period; cancellation stops the next renewal.
- One-off purchases (such as Boosts and Day Passes) are digital items delivered immediately and consumed when used. Where you have a statutory right to cancel digital purchases (for example a withdrawal period under EU/UK consumer law), that right may end once delivery begins with your consent; nothing here removes refund rights you have under your local law.
- The free tier always includes your profile, check-in, limited likes, matching, chat after a match, all safety tools, data export and account deletion.
8. Third-party services and content
The Service relies on third parties (for example payment, flight-status, mapping and points-of-interest providers) and may show information from them or link to other sites. That information may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate, and those services have their own terms. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services or content, and relying on them (for example flight times) is at your own risk — always confirm critical information with the official source.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect users or the Service, with the reason logged where appropriate. You can delete your account anytime in Settings — deletion is permanent and immediate. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 5, 6, 10, 11, 12 and 15) survive termination.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that any defects will be corrected, that information (including flight data or presence counts) is accurate or current, or that you will meet anyone, form a match, or have any particular experience or outcome. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AirportDate, its affiliates and their officers, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. This includes, without limitation, any loss or harm arising from the acts or omissions of other users; from any meeting or interaction, online or in person; or from events at airports or while travelling, including delays, missed connections or missed flights.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) GBP 100. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
12. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold AirportDate harmless from claims, losses and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, Your Content, or your interactions with other users. This does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own breach or negligence.
13. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may update, change or discontinue features of the Service. We may also change these Terms; if we make a material change, we will give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
14. Events outside our control
We are not liable for any failure or delay in providing the Service caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of third-party providers, network or power failures, acts of government, strikes, or natural events.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any dispute relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction. However, if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection rights and the courts available to you under the law of your country of residence — these Terms do not take those away. Before starting any formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally.
16. General
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor. These Terms, together with the policies referenced above, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. These Terms may be provided in several languages for convenience; the English version governs if there is any conflict, to the extent the law allows.
